I am not real happy with the way GRPR has handled things and I have expressed that to IR. They have used the money of investors to finance salaries and everything else without keeping investors up to date. Probably one of the reasons we saw a recent PR because I had some harsh words for their IR. With all that said, I do know this:
Understand first that I am not claiming to be an oil expert or geologist but the type of oil and gas they are trying to hit is not your typical drill down in regular dirt and the oil comes gushing up. From my understanding this whole area of lease is just now getting started. The technology to get oil trapped in shale formations is just now (last 2 years) taking off. I am going to do some research on Exxon in the area and see what progress they are making. That could tell us what will happen with Solimar. My two cent and opinion.
Grid Petroleum owns 50% of the lease that Solimar has. So grid is not really the driller, just an investor. That is my best understanding. I knew it would take some time before I invested and have not really got all the info together but I hope to be able to post more DD soon. It looks like next month we should see equipment hitting the area.
Do your own DD, consider all my posts my opinion
