[edited to add]Pop, just to clarify, I have not said or implied that ebay licensed "mobile payment" from Neomedia or that Neomedia owns "mobile payment" patents. I am not aware of any "mobile payment" patent owned by Neomedia, just as I am not aware of any "marketing campaign" or "ticketing" or "counterfeiting" patent of Neomedia. But, the use of QR codes using an unique identifier (or indirect method) in the "mobile payment" system created by eBay makes me very happy and looking forward as to how exactly is it going to work, and how important are these going to be in the whole equation.
September 13-14 will tell.
