Good start, back when I was in college one of my friends said " Hey, I'm investing in something "new" their called Mutual Funds. I said "naw, I'm young, I don't have the money", usual excuses. He retired several years ago in Florida after he had a million dollars saved.............

ps...if you have a part time job, invest your money thru a ROTH IRA. Yes, it's AFTER tax dollars but imagine the money you WON'T have to give the government in 30 years.
