Thresher Industries Announces Breakthrough in Composite Material

HANFORD, Calif., Sept. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Thresher Industries (pinksheets:THRR) announced that it has completed development of a highly thermal conductive material. Thresher had received a purchase order to develop this material for use in an electronic enclosure requiring superior thermal conductivity. This material exceeds the thermal conductivity requirements for the enclosure and brings this alloy to production faster than anticipated.

Tom Flessner, President/CEO said, "Our success in developing this material demonstrates that we can engineer materials for specific markets. This purchase order for metallurgical testing and sample batch preparation was completed in less than four months. With our focus changing from production to material development we will offer data and engineering/test samples of this material to our customers and qualified casting companies along with engineering and production support."
