I wouldn't be surprised. I also wouldn't be surprised if the timing is more than a week after the proxy. With no news, it is likely that "dilution" (even though these shares will never be traded on the open market) will shake the loose hands out and bring the pps down even more than it is now, thereby allowing insiders (owners, EPIC, etc.) to pick up really cheap shares before this thing takes off. It is going to be a wild ride, but I am keeping my core position intact at least until March. Also have my flippers to play the proxy and news.
