I strongly disagree. I have multiple friends who hold CEO/CFO positions of publicly traded corporations and during any social conversations we are both VERY aware regarding stocks I can and cannot hold or trade. Most CEO's are very aware of this as well and will not risk issues with insider trading.

Therefore yes ken can share info with anyone, including Rick. But if rick trades stock (or tells someone to) based on his conversation with ken then it becomes insider info.

This is not a laughing matter either or something to take lightly, trust me on this one, I have first hand knowledge of it.
