There apparently was a large short, there was also a big buyer. probably the same person.

once the bid support drops out, they sell their long shares for a small loss, because there is no bid support.
then they buy to cover their short position once they have dropped the bid way down. their loss from the sale of long shares, which they were accumulating last week, is minimal from the potential upside from 1st covering big short position, then starting a new long position at a low $.
that's what i would do if i had 50-100k to play with. then again, it is very illegal. but pinkies are so under watched legally, its like taking candy from a baby.
