Command Center, Inc. (OTCBB: CCNI) (http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/CCNI/quote), a national provider of on-demand and temporary staffing solutions, today announced it has responded this past week to the immediate need for workers to begin clean-up and recovery efforts in flooded areas of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania affected by Hurricane Irene.

The company said these assignments are being handled along with a major clean-up effort in North Dakota that has been in progress since the Souris River flooded the city of Minot in late June of this year. Command Center has been an ongoing provider of workers for relief efforts in that region and recently has also deployed workers in response to the Missouri River flooding in the Council Bluffs, Iowa area.

“Our ability to service flood recovery projects simultaneously in five states is an excellent demonstration of logistics at the highest level in temp staffing,” said Glenn Welstad, Command’s Chairman and CEO. “As part of the design of our business model at Command Center, we have experienced people and sophisticated systems that are capable of organizing and mobilizing large numbers of our Field Team Members (FTMs) for multiple site locations, usually within a day or two, if necessary.”

Mr. Welstad noted that “currently, Command is sending out 300-500 FTMs daily to cover these flooded locations, and we believe that number could increase during the coming weeks. We also expect to be a major source of skilled and unskilled workers in the rebuilding projects that necessarily follow as the water subsides.”

Command Center is a highly experienced provider of personnel for disaster recovery work, having successfully fulfilled numerous large-scale restoration projects during the past few years, including activities associated with flooding in Iowa and Tennessee, Hurricanes Ike and Katrina, the Gulf Oil spill, and the major shopping center fire this past holiday season in Sacramento.
