Louisiana Food Company to Acquire Second South Louisiana Specialty Food Manufacturer Marketwire   "Press Releases"
BATON ROUGE, LA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/15/11 -- Louisiana Food Company (OTCBB: LUSI), a purveyor of "Certified" Louisiana specialty food products, today announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Mossy Bayou Foods , a South Louisiana -based specialty food manufacturer with regional distribution. LUSI targeted this company for acquisition, based on its intriguing South Louisiana -inspired family of products, including its signature product, Louisiana Swamp Scum Hot Sauce, as well as the potential for significant near-term growth. It is expected that a definitive agreement will be signed following the completion of due diligence efforts.
