Eastech ET700 & ET701 Info and a Question

I received a response (on 3/25/01) from Eastech to my queries regarding retail availability of the ET700 JB and spec's on the ET701. I posted the ET701 Specs on an RB Post today.... the spec's were sent to me in a Word.doc so I can't post them directly (or the picture of the ET701). Availability and pricing of ET701 wasn't provided, but ET700 "may" be carried in retail outlets in June.... "mass production" expected in May. Retail pricing "around USD $499" according to Eastech.

Thus far I've seen no information, nor have I been able to find out whether either of these Eastech JB players has Edig's mOS or microCAM in them... or even whether they are licensed from the Edig reference design. So, at this point any inference relating either of these JB players to Edigital is just that.... inference or expectations or hope. My question though is whether anybody else has been able to find out whether either of these Eastech JB players contains Edig's mOS or microCAM software for Edig's per unit or bulk license revenue stream? Other than the Edig announcement for the license arrangement with Eastech at CES, is there any other information available which would relate either of these 2 players to Edigital revenue stream in fact?
