DanL-I'm no techie either, but one can not possibly come away from a show like that, and not be impressed in a number of ways. For instance, XM Radio had no less than 10 cars...all high end vehicles, completely outfitted. MB, the brand spanking new Acura SUV, (that hasn't even hit the showrooms), Hummer H2, Beetle convertible, BMW M5, Cadillac Escalade, etc...quite a display, not to mention the display outside the entrance, and the giveaway bags. BIG BUCKS...and a cool new way of receiving radio signals.

jtdii-Well, what can I say...you're obviously more concerned about your investment, than I am. It is you that should have attended the CES if you're that tight and concerned about your investment. I didn't go there to investigate MY investment...only to confirm what I have been told, and what I read. I wanted to see, feel and hear the O1000, and I did. I wanted to talk, face-to-face, with someone from e.Digital, besides RP really, and I did. I wanted to witness for myself, the where's, what's and why's of my investment, and I did.

There's SO much more to the CES, for me anyway, then to do your DD for you, capsulize and pablum feed it back to you.

I have always been interested in audio, and have decided to expand my realm into home theater. Thus, I was interested in investigating DTS 5.1 processors, HDTV's, center channel speakers, and amplifiers to complement my existing audio system. Further, where else in the world could I go and listen to audio systems that truly define state-of-the-art, and do so in one hotel, by just walking room-to-room? "Here, sit down and listen to this track!" "Whoa!" The Thiel and McIntosh home theater demos were cool. The Thiel CS1.6 audio speakers were amazing...they filled a very large room with great sound...superb imaging, well balanced sound...

Yes, this forum here is for discussions about e.Digital, not about audio, home theater or the CES...but I did discuss e.Digital, looked at the other "offerings" from CE giants, and walked away satisfied. If that makes you nauseated....too bad.
