One other thing, when you see 5000 shares, most likely that is not accurate. It seems to be the default value. It used to be that 5000 shares was all you would ever see on pinksheet stocks. The SEC made a rule that the MMs need to show the true amount. For the most part this is followed, but not always.

Sometimes you will see a 5000 share bid or ask and millions will go through at that price.

NITE and AUTO showing 5000 each on the bid. It is possible that there much more than that on the bid. It is also possible that it is accurate.
