This company's website never promoted sales on their website. Looked like a front from the beginning. There are plenty of open-sourced ecommerce sites for free that they could have used to get a steady revenue.

Either... the management team were simply unexperienced weeds trying to act like trees. Or the business was a front so that they can pump. Either way... you don't want to be invesing in people like that.
