Micro Assembly Technician
Laser Energetics (laserenergetics.com), a leading manufacturer of solid state lasers, needs a full time Micro Assembly Technician. The candidate must have good manual dexterity, visual acuity and communication skills, have a minimum 3 years experience assembling very small components using optical aids. The candidate must be computer literate and have some experience operating general lab instrumentation. In-house training on micro-assembly of diode lasers and optics will be provided. Following a period of hands-on work, the candidate will be required to perform these tasks as well as performance troubleshooting with minimum supervision.
Some knowledge of optical components, LEDs or diode lasers is a plus, but not required.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Some paid OT will be required. A full benefits package is included.This position offers significant near term growth opportunities, based on the candidates skill set.
