Hey everyone...I posted some information and had asked in other messages for everyone to let me check out what I have been told. I know how important it is to make sure things are always adding up and making sense...especially with our money. As some of you know if you have read my post I own mining claims in Colorado around the Silverton area. I also used to own a resort in Lake City Colorado. Some of this may not make exact sense to some of you because you don't know the area as well as others. There is no way for me to shorten this so this starts with a mining company in Creede Colorado about 50 miles from Lake City and 80 or so miles from Silverton. You can google San Juan Silver JV, this is a Hecla project. They are mining silver and other ore as we speak. If you look at their information you will see that they are ramping up production and it's already pretty impressive. This is not hearsay or opinion...this is fact that they are mining. One of my friends works for the Bridge and Highway department in Hinsdale County. Because I am going up in a couple of weeks I always call him to find out what's going on around town in Lake City. I told him I had purchased some shares of Hecla and he told me to purchase some more. I ask why? He said that reps from Hecla had requested load ratings on bridges in Hinsdale County. Hinsdale is the county where Lake City is. He also said they had requested bridge and highway load ratings for Archuleta County, Gunnison County, and San Juan County. Because of the various road conditions there are only 2 ways in and out of Silverton in the winter time. He told me that they were trying to plot a course to the Silverton area for processing of their ore due to the increased volumes. I failed to ask Robert where Hecla was processing at this time. Hecla would have to inquire about the roads especially the bridges if they were to start moving ore for processing. To the best of my knowledge there isn't a working mill in Colorado at this time...although I had often heard of one in central Colorado I have not been able to verify this. I didn't want to say anything until I got a call back from another friend in Lake City. His name is Perk Vickers and the Golden Wonder mine is on his property in Lake City. LKAI is currently mining it. It has a great history and I trust Perk and his son 100%. You have to know the area to understand why Hecla would be checking these load zoned bridges. If they move their ore around south through Southfork and Wolf Creek Pass it can be about a 4 hour run. However, Wolf Creek Pass is known to be closed for mornings and evenings for Howitzer use to blow the avalanche areas away. The path would then be through Lake City to Gunnison then west to Montrose..then a drop down through Ouray to Silverton. I just know that because of the area and my knowledge of the highways that there is no other reason that Hecla would be inquiring about Silverton...everything they wanted to know was dead ended in Silverton. I was unable to talk to one of the city people that has shared information with me in the past. Unlike Lake City, I don't know anyone on the bridge and road team in Silverton. I know this doesn't affect our shares one bit but this kind of information is priceless. If you look at the Hecla information and combine it with a road map of the surrounding counties I believe you will see why I am excited if not curious enough to get on the phone with friends and ask questions! Sorry this is so long and so late but I didn't get phone calls back until alter this evening. By the way..I only purchased 50 shares of Hecla because I try to stay only in the penny stocks. Tomorrow I will double my CGFIA shares. I remember when I was building a water system at my old resort on Lake San Cristobal that I had to deal with the government many times. It's different in Colorado because there are a few you have to get ok'd by. I can assure you that based on what I am hearing from people in Lake City that the Colorado govt is excited about what Hecla is doing and I think they will do everything to make sure it goes as smooth as possible for them. My opinion is that Hecla wants to get their ore milled as close to Creede as they can...I'm hoping their inquiries are because of our mill!!!!
