If the ask is showing 5k and seems to have unlimited shares, well, that's a block seller and means only one thing, new shares are hitting the market.



Not true at all. An individual investor can choose to have his brokerage not show the lot sizes on L2. I called my brokerage and had them explain this to me because I thought the same thing you did.
