BD pricing cut before launch?

The first AMD FX CPUs have shown up for pre-order at Shopblt.com. The three SKUs listed are FX-8150, FX-8120 and FX-6100 priced at $266, $222 and $189 respectively. The good news is that the pricing is lower than expected - previously rumoured to be in the $300 to $320 range for the top CPU. The bad news is that such pricing suggests the FX-8150 is unlikely to beat Core i7 2600 in many situations.

As always, pre-order prices are normally higher than launch prices. Hence, we can expect the FX CPUs to sell for even lesser.
