BREAKING NEWS: UNIONEN & LEDARNA DEMANDS BANKRUPTCY *Updated!

The union “unionen” and the smaller union “ledarna” which mostly represents white-collars and management staff at Saab, at 13:00 demanded a bankruptcy from SAAB. This bankruptcy can be withdrawn should the salaries be paid to the members accounts.

This decision by “ledarna” to file for bankruptcy did not come form the local branch of the union, but from a central level in Stockholm. The central management in stockholm did talk with the local branch first who were of the opinion that due to recent events and positive news from Saab, the union should await the decision of the Court of Appeals in Gothenburg. The central management did not abide by the recommendations of the local branch and demanded a bankruptcy even so.
