in a word, customer interest...

look, the deal was they co was having trouble proving that
the gains were actually due to the old method, so they
needed a new method/ system that would increase customer
satisfaction ...all the original viable customers are still
interested, but they want a greater degree of specificity
accuracy precision certainty and a greater degree of
formation penetration, insted of disapointing customers
say 50 percent of the time the decided to retire the old rigs
to someone who didnt mind all the feneggling and as a result
of cleaning up their act w/ past big investors partners and
whatnot, the company has a sustainable flow of cash / cash
reserve to carry them through the redevelopment process
that would address all of the customers needs...the REAL
customers never hated vdys they just wanted more confidence
in the method, the new abrasive fluid jet technology
w/ a better automated rig will address all of those concerns
and get the company rolling again...

my take is this, these guys r destined to be as common in the
oil services business as rotoroter is in the plumbing
business...think about it, it just makes sense,

the company is very receptive to investors, if you call them
they can update you on progress re time line etc...they are
open to suggestion, i suggested they they eventually have a
clip of the new rigs in operation on the site...they said
that they are working on it...
