Only problem moving forward with wind energy is the deaths of Bats, Eagles and hawks from turbines...they WILL need to address that issue and come up with some kind of method of greatly reducing the numbers of annimals ( protected ones ) that are killed by the turbine fans. Hell less than these species have shut ddown big projects...little minnows and owls come to mind....The tree huggers will fight broadranging projects here in the US at least.....I am sure there is a cheap method of keeping birds and bats away,.....perhaps some sort of ultrasonic tones???...Wind is the way to go surely and coupled with solar it is terrific. A few flies in the ointment but overall it is looking really good here for the future. Good luck to us.
