Modrica,
The best thing you can do is look at the information posted in the stickies above. Particularly the one by 567tbd. It is a rather extensive summary of the last several months of activity by CGFIA, with links to the sources of the information. That is a good place to start.

The other board you reference is notoriously negative. They offer no recent information or sources to back up their opinions.

Here is some bits of logic that counters their "scam" accusations. Would a scam operation put up a bond in excess of $600,000 with the DRMS (Colorado Division of Reclamation and Mine Safety)?
Would the management (Mr. Guyer in particular) work for little or no pay? Yes, he gets paid in stock, but has cashed out very little of that stock over the years. We once calculated he's working for GCFIA for less than $10 per hour (if he is putting in 40 hours a week, very conservative figure)
Would a scam operation go through the expense of readying the mill for operation? (FYI CGFI is down to the last 1 or 2 items out of a list of close to 50 to complete the process of mill reopening.)
We have members who have visited the Pride of the West mill as recently as last month. A video link is available if you care to view it.

No one can, or should, do your "Due Diligence" for you. All we can do is share with you the information we have found, and the source of that information. It is up to you to digest that information, the source of the information, and then decide if this is an investment for you.

Investing isn't easy. It takes work, hard work, to sort thru the BS and find the truth. For now, ignore the opinions. Facts are what you want to focus on. The more recent the information the more relevant it is. Look at all the information freely offered here and compare it with what you are hearing from other sources. Then ask yourself who offers logical and intelligent points, backed up with facts from sources that are up to date.

Whatever your decision, good luck in your ventures.
I know you will have more questions as you digest what you find, so feel free to ask about it. We welcome intelligent discussion!

I just hang out here for the fun of it, that
doesn't mean I'm smart.
