"Worms" as used in the context of a biotech production platform refers a LINE of worms, not to individual worms. So when he said the worms were ready for commercialization tht meant that the LINE of worms was ready to begin the process of commercializaton WHICH INCLUDES making it (the line) homozygous, selecting anther line to cross it with (the large commercial hybrid) and breeding up the population of the Monster Silk worms ONCE THEY WERE HOMOZYGOUS (it's useless to start breeding them up until they are).

Where are this proof, you say upon it as truth, but I cannot find statement from Mr Kim, or statement on internet, except i do find homozygous talk, and that are ok, but the mandatory for protect of the product with cross breeding? If this are the case, might not Kim have said upon you in october<"now we have monsters silk, next we will breed this worm for homosygous and for bigger coocoon, and upon completing these two we are to increase the numbers."

Actually i think my ecpectation are quite lenient for mr Kim, if you look upon mr Kim's original timeline, he predict 2010 recombant silk and 2011 april for high strength silk, and for 2012 commercial to make the silks. One person could argue upon the high strength as the second of generation possibly or possibly just the strength of monsters silk, but look, mr Kim allowed for 8 month to get the silks for commerce, since Mr Kim have made this public prediction, I am prepare to give mr Kim around this much time for commerce of the monsters hybrid. The laboratory could have partner lined up for us before then, But i think the reality are that it will take plenty of month for partner to test our silks for their product, and for to develop new product.
