Many months ago, to recall it, someone here mentioned they had cracked the $1000 price point for a small home unit. What price water and food safety? (Anyone who has suffered the tortures of acute food poisoning would pay anything to avoid foodborne illness in future.) No expensive filters required. Neutralizes heavy metals and chlorine taste, too. Oxygenates water. Loews and Home Depot et al. could probably sell thousands upon thousands for $999 or less.
