"If the garment industry can swap out spider silk for silkworm silk for basically the same cost"

well thats a mighty big "IF"...they will "swap out" just like that?...like i said, its a nice thought..but thats about it at this point...for the same cost?..who said spider silk would be the same cost?..no one knows...many are certainly hoping that will be the case but there is no reason to belive that WILL be the case..

"make a superior product they will switch to spidersilk"

by superior you mean longer lasting?...im not convinced the garment industry is interested in garments that dont have to be replaced regularly...

"If you can get a better product for the same price I am pretty sure everyone is going to pick the better, higher quality product. except you of course"

better in what way?..who says its going to be better?...who says its going to be the same price?....these are what the hopes and dreams of kblb made fortunes are made of but no one knows the costs or prices of anything yet...there isnt even pure spider silk yet let alone cost to mass produce it or the price to someone who want to buy it...

people already have everyone running around in spider silk underwear and have already decided the world wants them and they will be available at the same price as cotton underwear....

could we be getting a little ahead of ourselves there a bit?..
