I have done some significant DD with sources that have great knowledge of the machinations that free enterprise and government personas are involved in the, what is now called, the Burgess Biopower project. I am picking my words very carefully. I suggest you parse them carefully to understand what I believe gives us a factual understanding on certain matters re funding terms between Laidlaw [LLEG] and Cates Street Capital.
Now that Burgess Biopower has succeeded in gaining NHSEC and NHPUC approval the RECs that are an important source of revenue for the project are automatically available from Federal sources. Thus the Burgess project receives this financial asset without having to provide what is done with these monies.
Most important for LLEG’s concerns, there may be some of these funds received by Burgess Biopower funneled to Cates and used by Cates to pay Laidlaw for successful attainment of the permits and requirements to begin construction of the project.
As well management of LLEG will also receive remuneration for supplying ongoing advice to Burgess Biopower. It is not clear if this income would result in income to LLEG and I would be surprised if it did, unless the Laidlaw company [aside from the individuals ] had expenses and made material input to the decisions to be made.
Things are progressing well, but patience is still needed. Hopefully an update will come
Soon –it is overdue!!
