Let me put it to you this way.

Lets say you manufactured clothing for a living.

You have stated that you would not want to manufacture clothing with spider silk (If it were available at a reasonable cost) because it would possibly last longer, be more durable and you would have less sales and less profit or some other ludicrous reason for not using a superior product. what ever your reason was I am going to explain why this thought process is all messed up.

I could guarantee you that your clothing sales would take a huge hit. Because some other manufacturer would certainly use spider silk in their clothing line just so they could market it as a superior product over yours. Forcing you to do the same. Someone would start using the product and everyone else would have to follow suit just to compete. You either use the product or you lose customers. I am pretty sure that is how it will work.

In that scenario you don't have to charge an outrageous amount for spider silk. Everyone would be using it so they could market there clothing line in a better light. If everyone is using it then you can charge the same amount for a ton of spider silk as a ton of silkworm silk. KBLB and spider silk will own the market.

If KBLB comes thru with what they are trying to accomplish this stock is going to be huge. Huge beyond all our dreams. How many BILLIONS are spent on the silkworm market????
