Tandem Solar Cell
• LPD process could allow manufacturing of super-efficient
(30+%) tandem solar cells for use terrestrially
• Adding Natcore’s tandem solar cell to current cells
increases output by 75% for double-layer or 100% for
triple-layer
• The double-layer tandem cell will add just 25% to
manufacturing cost
• Estimate the first small device, a double-layer, single
junction cell, will be ready this year

After this development, I wonder if Natcore will continue to pursue the silicon tandem cell or only pursue the flexible thin film tandem cell.
