timewaster, welcome to the board.

The Achilles Heels of this process are (a) whether current uniformity can be maintained and environmental resilience can be achieved.

Chains are only as strong as the weakest link. So too for PV cells. Hook 3 in series, and the one with the lowest current (amperage) production will define the limit for the higher voltage series set. Same for parallel operation: the one with the lowest threshold will provide the least current when hooked in parallel.

Dr. Flood, with his 30+ years of photovoltaic experience, and Dr. Barron, head of Barron Group, are brilliant scientists. Check out their bio's at www.natcoresolar.com. I'm sure they are well aware of the weakest link fact and the need for the flexible thin film to last 30 years. Also, I'm sure they took this into consideration when stating that this tandem cell could produce 30%+ efficiency.

I am in no way a solar technical guru, but, I did know these two things. Dr. Flood, Natcore's Chief Technology Officer, is very accessable. You may want to call Tom Scarpa, Natcore Investor Relations, at 732-576-8800. Ask him to address your concerns. He will give you Dr. Floods mobile number.

All the best,

JB
