Janes launches his low cost alternative to refurbishing medical equipment from the trunk of his car.
By 2001 Janes has no money and a warehouse full of obsolete inventory, a direct result of business not quite going the way he had planned. Suppliers, creditors and customers send letters of demand and begin to launch law suits seeking financial recovery for broken promises. As of this moment there have been over 50 law suites filed and virtually every one ending up as a judgement against Janes.
In the spring of 2002 a suspicious fire roars through 3200 W Valhalla drive and incinerates all of the obsolete inventory.........A lucky day for Janes.
Amid all of this chaos and insanity that was immediately taking place, Janes introduces the Dominion, a supposed 3D real time medical imaging machine. The timing couldn't have been better.
In 2004 with the invaluable assistance from his long time friend Brian Altounian, Janes takes I3 public sighting the Dominion as breakthrough technology that other companies such as GE, Toshiba and Siemens couldn't get to work, and still can't.
In 2006, with shareholders running for the exits as the prototype just never seems to get finished, Janes and BA start heavily promoting the Dominion.
In the same year, Janes announces at RSNA that the Dominion was operating in 3D realtime and that clinical trials would immediately commence and FDA approval was just 6 to 9 months away, worst case.
Issued shares balloon from 70M to 350M as the high life for Janes unfolds itself. From exotic holidays, flying around in executive jets, driving a Mercedes Benz and wearing shiny Italian suites.
Another six years goes by and Janes still does not have a finished product, FDA approval has been refused and it has also been one year without a resubmission, no clinical trials to test safety and effectiveness have ever been performed, no one has ever seen the Dominion perform a live 3D realtime demonstration, no luminary sites have ever signed on, not one single medical journal has ever written an article about the device and not one single Radiologist has ever endorsed it.
