because its years away...kblb doesnt have years to wait for that stuff...they need to get something done soon...they need to start making money....they have had monster silk for awhile now...and that was supposed to have been a major achievement...they were supposed to have been able to market that all over the place...they were supposed to have been able to make tons of money with it...so far kblb hasnt seen a dime from it..

why on earth would anyone want to focus on an area that is small potatos, has no products yet and is years away when what they supposedly needed to make millions is already in their hands??..

forget the future..forget about what you can maybe do with spider silk years from now...figure out what to do with it NOW...

but for some reason you are supposed to keep looking way out in the distance....theres another dream just on the other side of that hill...

kblb needs to do something with what it has NOW...if it should get pure spider silk eventually, great...then they will need to do something with that also at that time..

but kblb has what?..one employee and one scientist and a few techs?...and they are concurrently going in 4 different directions at the same time?...with super complicated cutting edge technology?..with some goals being years out?...really?..this sounds great to everyone?..does this all really make sense?..

with a limited amount of resources and time available to you, one would think priorities would have to be established...and one would think that a product you have in your hand that can be sold for profit would be somewhat of a priority...
