Entogenetics was thoroughly discussed and examined in great detail here last May. It had no interest in its product for the very good reason that it had made no significant technological advancement. Same reason tat Nexia got no interest in it's product (Nexia's mechanically spun spider silk analogue was only 40% of the strength of pure spider silk (just about exactly the same strength as ordinary silkworm silk).

Given that it was vastly more expensive than silkworm silk (which was the only thing it would have been competitive with (well, except for the cost ("Other than THAT, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?")).

So your "example" is totally irrelevant.

Monster Silk is 80% of the strength of pure spider silk and TWICE as stong as silkworm silk. This advancement has already put KBLB in a completely different category than it's competitors (some of whom have already gone bankrupt).

You are making exactly the same mistake with the very inapplicable computer analogy that mojo was (which leads me to wonder if you understood the discussion). As I already noted, switching to a different computer system and/or different software in a newer model means just trashing a lot of what you already own. When buying a new product made with a different material there is no such problem.

KBLB's fibers are already superior to others and will continue to be more so in the future. Te idea that they won't succeed because they are not already common goes against many thousands of years of technological advances and is not even remotely plausible, IMHO.
