How do you know he just didnt go to Ariad because there is more upside to ARIA stock (presumably) than MRK stock? Or ARIAD is paying him more.

This thinking on the board re this new hire is along the same lines as ARIAD hiring a Board Member from some other larger entity therefore, they must be in the process of getting bought by same company.

Dont get me wrong.... I hope youre right...I would love to see ARIA bought for 30.00 in a year.
