I just called the IBF in NJ @ 973-564-8046.
I asked if there was a fight scheduled in Santo Domingo for Oct. 1st. at the horse race track.
I was told "yes".
I asked where I could buy tickets.
I was told to call Sousa Bay Grand Casino and was given the phone number - 809-571-4075.
I called them and a woman employee that spoke reasonable english told me to that all the bosses had left for the day and I could call tomorrow morning. She said ticket sales would begin within the next two weeks.
I asked if the fight was going to be held at the Casino.
She said "no" it was going to be held at the horserace track in Santo Domingo.
It appears that if Swank has taken the money & run as you suggest, he is leaving alot on the table.
Why would he do that when a fight is scheduled?
Please do your DD before making unsupported statements.
Feel free to do as I have done & call the numbers I have called/listed & confirm for yourself if you wish.
GLTA!!!!!!!!!!!!
