I treat a CEO like I would the Prsident. I respect the title/office and his job is not to take calls from me, but to spend his time executing "the plan".

Maybe more should respect his time and stop calling him. The fact that he answers is great, but his time is better served with more pressing items than to talk to me or anyone else about their concerns.

he performs - concerns go away.

Sorry, just don't agree that a CEO s/b burdened by this type of approach.
