Cell phones should be able to integrate podcasting without to much effort. It basically uses an RSS feed to discover new content that you have subscribed to. So currently Cell phones can access the internet they just need the ability built-in to subscribe to RSS feeds and pull down the new content via the aggregator. Then playing would be done by the phones media player.
