WHAT LEGAL GROUNDS does Ameritrade have to freeze your funds! They may not have any obligation to allow sells or buys in said security,,,but what legal grounds do Ameritrade have to hold your funds!!!
1.Write them a letter demanding to know under what legal basis are funds not being released.
(any bs response "we believe trades are not valid" is just that)
2. Tell them if Ameritrade does not release funds within 48hrs you will be contacting your attorney to pursue legal action.
(YOU MUST DO THIS ALL IN WRITING AND SEND VIA CERTIFIED LETTER)

Comments:The GVRP suspension was ended yesterday. What is the
concern NOW with removing the funds. So much time has gone by,
