I can only imagine that there's a lot of interest.
As for needing money really fast... they don't try to raise 10m and another 5.5m in one week if that would be the fact.
With 10 million they have enough to keep the drills working for a nice time... even on other properties.

Of course I'm not sure of it but I would be very surprised if that would be the reason.
