I use TD Ameritrade and never have any problems with any order. They are filled sometimes at a better price than my limit order. You can wire or electronically transfer your money to them. My last electronic transfer got there the same day. For trading on the OTC there is a three day holding period. No holds for NYSE or NASDAQ. If you wire it there are no holds. I usually wire it when there is a large amount of money.
