They are calling it hurricane Irene because it was a hurricane but nowhere does it state that ny was struck by it as it was a hurricane.They do talk about the downgrade to tropical storm.My previous posts clearly state that it was downgraded to tropical storm before it hit NY.I will never admit being wrong on that because I was not.Every single ny news station states the same so me being in ny know better than anyone else does.
