The captain jumped off the sinking ship?
He stepped down for personal reasons. For all you know the guy could be battling cancer or maybe needs to move to another state to take care of his mother.
Maybe he knows things others shouldn't?
He doesn't know "global" drilling-production, he doesn't know how to raise 200 million in capital.

Any new filing with the SEC for management change?
Wow.. I feel like this is investment 101 training day. After any material event, such as a CEO change, the company has 4-days to file an 8k. Give 'em a break.
