Mundo Reader SL Selects Neonode for Innovative eReader for Spanish Speaking Markets.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug 24, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Neonode, Inc. (NEON.OB), the optical touch screen technology company, today announced that it entered into a multi-year technology license agreement with Mundo Reader SL, a company organized in Spain, to use Neonode's touch screen solution in its new family of touch eReader products targeting the Spanish speaking markets worldwide. Mundo Reader and Telefonica entered into an agreement where Mundo Reader will supply eReaders to subscribers of Telefonica's telecommunications networks worldwide. Telefonica operates telecommunications networks in Europe, Latin America and the USA and is one of the largest private telecommunications companies in the world. Neonode's technology is already used in Barnes & Noble's newly launched Nook Simple Touch eReader, the Sony series of eReaders and the Kobo Touch Edition eReader. The eReader market is growing rapidly and is projected to grow from approximately 11 million readers sold in 2010 to an estimated 72 million sold in 2014.
