CESV, CFK. there are many new additions to the Russell this month. as always, the major sustained price move for any company will be earnings, consistent earnings. index additions can have some positives when the indexes are being bought and the reverse is true too. it seems that many of the companies that are to be added to the Russell have had some pre addition buying.
CFK, has had some inconsistent earnings periods. 1999 and 2002-2003 were years with losses. this may be the reason that their stock price has no traction. if oil prices stay consistently high, this could well change. definitely a value stock.
CESV, what is up with that 1-20 reverse split?
