I haven’t been following the Hub much these past few months. Having just skimmed the board, it seems as though the nay nays are louder than ever. The venting is getting pretty ugly. Anyone courageous enough to speak a contra thought gets bludgeoned into silence or devoured by the piranhas.

There were two old emails that I just noticed when I logged on; one from April and one from May. I’m cheap and I don’t have the expanded service so I’ll answer both here without using names. I’m sorry to be so tardy.

First, the character sounds interesting, but he isn’t well known. Thanks for the lead, but he doesn’t fit the criteria. That wasn’t NVEI related, so the rest of you don’t know what that was about. Sorry to be guilty of posting non-related information. Yes, I deserve to be bludgeoned.

Secondly, you’re right, I haven’t posted here for quite a while. I prefer to say things once. Hash and rehash isn’t my thing.

To answer your question, yes, I am still heavily invested. The reasons: 1. We got the money. 2. I think HelloSoft is working for shares, not cash. That can only mean they like what see. I think that’s a huge factor. 3. The marketing guy stayed. 4. Also, from what I understand, the 3.5 should get us to revenue. I don’t know what that means in terms of product. I don’t know if it means orders or actual sales, but I’m betting we’ll have something to sell by years end.

Yes, I believe we have the tech. HelloSoft and the presence of our marketing man speak loudly to me. Neither would still be around if the tech wasn’t in the bag. I can imagine a chip that installs in a few minutes that makes a telco connection a better buy than what the cable company can offer.

I believe the quiet period will be short because the situation is different than before. I don’t believe we’ll have the same paper work problems this time around.

I don’t believe Ray has taken his commission and I believe the wolves at the door have been held off so that most of the money will go to tech development and the marketing thereof.

No, I don’t like the dilution and I wasn’t happy about the timing of the bonuses, but the doors are still open. I’m not as happy as I would hope to have been by now but I’m not crying, yelling or throwing a fit.

Thanks for asking. Those are just my opinions. I’m sorry it took so long to respond.

By the way, for those who are going to the meeting, I’ll be the very tall, old, wrinkled guy in the Hawaiian shirt. Be sure and say “hi,” even if you are swimming in a school.

Piranhas, the floor is yours again. Be nice. Remember what your mother’s taught you. Don’t bludgeon and devour.

I’ll check back in a couple of months. Peace.
