First, the Kool-aid longs you refer to usually provide substantive material to back their arguments, as opposed to tripe such as, "why is an Australian running the company."

WTF does that have to do w/SIAF performance?

Second, your argument to open up the front page to a public analysis would simply invite the same nonsense I just referenced that would have to be sifted, combed through, edited, redacted, etc. etc. and would amount to nothing more than a waste of time and a diversion from what everyone can gain from simply reading or reviewing the posts on this board. It's not as if there are that many posts to begin with.

my vision is using the IHUB forum board as a way to hash out single topics resulting in a general consensus (democracy!), with the final decision being posted on the SIAF-IBOX (sp?) that only the mod can change. Pick a hot topic and we can all argue, long and short, our hearts out until the answer is clear. Ambiguous questions or those requiring further company info can be placed in a column labeled just that: Don't Know (my favorite bubble selection in the old-school standardized tests!). Naturally as new information arises, the ibox will be updated but at least we set up a skeleton.
