Updated: I said that he would announce the results of the ZNF insertions as soon as they were known (and specifically noted that that meant waiting until the results were independently confirmed). KBLB went so far as to issue a PR about the good hatch rate - a milestone in the process but not the end result, of course. But that supports the idea that he will issue a PR when the results are known.

The results are not yet "overdue" if you allow time for an independent confirmation which, again, I clearly stated he would certainly do. This result will be far too important to risk an erroneous PR because of something like misinterpreting a difference in cocoon color as an indication of success that turned out to be due to something else (a difference in diet, for example).

I have noted VERY many times that the timing is inherently highly subject to variations and that making investing decisions based on close anticipated timing of results is likely to lead to bad results with this stock.

PS We don't know whether THE results (pure spider silk) are expected from the first or the second round of GMs because KBLB has not said what GMs they were doing in which round.

So as far as we know, the results of the first round may or may not be possibly pure spider silk.

Please try to be accurate about this as there is much room for confusion.
