dom, China rules by edict. Considering that overnight, they banned the scooters that were puffing exhaust smoke, I think it's possible, once Natcore's technology is proven in production lines.

Check out this interview starting at 18:30 for the edict ...

Really looks like China is beating everyone in the solar industry. I wonder if the fact that Natcore is government-supported can lead to a chinese law or order to adopt the AR-Box ASAP for any Chinese solar cell makers?

Also, China imposes rolling blackouts to meet electricity use targets and is trying to improve air quality. Natcore's LPD process helps on both fronts. Then, add to this the lower cost of LPD!

However, Natcore feels that the solar industry will be forced to adopt Natcore's technology based on it's merits. So, I don't think we will need a government edict to see wide spread adoption.

The thousands of sample wafers, AR-coated and passified by the AR-Box, that Natcore talked about at the AGM, should be sent out to silicon panel fabricators around the end of September. This should spark a great deal of interest. Tom Scarpa said Natcore had ordered the wafers and chemicals to produce the samples.

Also of interest, Natcore is purchasing their own testing equipment for the lab. This is the same equipment that panel fabricators have.
