Great timing for a long awaited PR - again ! But what can they do, wait for the world (long wait).

It will be interesting to see how the chemistry works out once the pilot is in stable full-cycle. 50Kg/hr is roughly a ton/day not bad for such small tanks on that pilot apparatus. Hey, what if they find some nice high value exotics build-up in the mother liquor !!

It is still going to be a while before the hobby-horse is plated and polished sufficiently that they think it time for the Bernanke to do the knight in shining armor riding in to the rescue routine - much more headwind against QE under whatever new name this time, but it has been in the plan all along. An the last FOMC pledge on rates to nid 2013, a guarantee the newly minted mega too big to exist banks get the discount window even after the downgrade raises their rates of return. Good luck on that, but yep, all hard assets are gainers (if only apparent factoring out value changes of the numbers used to show their prices).
