Does anyone know what part Tivus plays in the in-room wifi experience for guests at the Philadelphia Marriott? I have browsed some reviews of the hotel on tripadvisor and each of the last 2 reviews complained about the in-room wifi. One review said that they loved the hotel, but were unable to use their own 4G connection because of a "heavy handed attempt" by the hotel to force people to use their own wifi (which is not free.) And the most recent review said the loved the hotel minus the spotty wifi connection. Other recent reviews just complained about the unavailability of free wifi.

I'm curious of this is a result of the Tivus system and it's ability to offer wifi to guests, and if so, the quality of it, and if it would always come at a cost, and if it is part of their revenue model.
