Why ? ? ? ?

I am new to level 2 & I'm trying to understand
how Market Makers work or think if that's possible.

With approx. 45 min left in trading today -
MM NITE has 17,900 sh that he will sell @ 0.042
MM HDSN has 97,000 sh that he will sell @ 0.047

Yesterday's close was 0.044
Only 2 buys so far today - no sells yet.
4600 sh @ 0.042 14:22:19
6818 sh @ 0.044 10:15:01

Why would NITE sell so low when he can offer
his shares for 0.044 or 0.045?

They do this on other pinks that I own also.
Any comments would be appreciated.
