cMoney launches m-payment service in beta version

US-based provider of mobile payment services cMoney has released the beta version of its m-payment offering, media outlet mobile-banking.tmcnet.com reports.

According to the source which cites company officials, the cMoney services uses secure patent pending technology for mobile phone users, retailers and financial institutions.

In addition, cMoney has also announced the receipt of a new round of funding by a private cMoney investor. The funding finalizes the beta enhancements to their existing cMoney offering and incorporates their licensed pending patents.

The company officials have also added that several technology companies have expressed interest in the original beta product, the source indicates.
